How long are appointments?

Appointments are approximately 50minutes in duration.

Are there any rebates?

As Franca is a Psychologist who is registered with Medicare, Work Cover, Victims of Crime, as well as several private health funds there may be rebates that can be claimed for sessions.

Many Private Health Insurance Policies will offer you a rebate for Psychological appointments.  To check if this is applies to you phone your Health Fund to make an enquiry.

Currently the Australian Government offers a rebate of approximately $90 for psychological treatment.  This requires first visiting a General Practitioner to see if you qualify for a Mental Health Care Plan.  This allows you to claim for the rebate for up to 10 session in every calander year.  If you have any enquiries or to see if you are eligible for this just contact and ask you GP.
